2020 has certainly not been the year any of us expected. I went straight from busy season to quarantine and nothing is quite going as planned. In some ways, it’s really getting to me. I’m disappointed each week when more event cancellations are announced, my firm decides to stay closed a little bit longer, my favorite places are still closed, and I realize that my jeans and bras will go neglected one more week… Ok, maybe I’m not super bummed about the last thing, but I’m pretty bummed out about being stuck inside most of the day.
Now, all that aside, one brand has seriously changed my quarantine wardrobe. I’ve been a fan of Balance Athletica for a while now, but since beginning to work from home, it’s all I’ve worn.
I now get at least one outfit from every single launch and they are starting to completely take over my workout wardrobe. I mean – honestly – I catch myself doing laundry to wear my cute matching outfits before wearing my other outfits now!
While I’ve loved all their leggings and bras that I’ve purchased, with a few favorites I’ll go into later, the standout piece for quarantine is their joggers. Seriously, get rid of all the other sweatpants you own because these are it.
I now own them in five colors and I refuse to wear anything else around the house now, at least, when I’m actually wearing pants.
Sizing can vary between collection to collection but I am always a size medium in their joggers. Since I own 5 pairs, I’ve decided to cut back on continuing to purchase these from their upcoming collections, but I definitely haven’t stopped picking up a few new arrivals.
Typically, I wear a size Large in their bra tops and a medium in their leggings. Although, I have had to size up to a large in their leggings in the past and I’ve had to size down to a Medium in their bras for a launch here and there. I have to pay very close attention to the Balance Leader reviews and sizing guides on their Instagram page to be sure.
I just placed a rather large preorder from their latest collection, so I am so excited to see those pieces arrive! They’ve been really active on supporting causes like Black Lives Matter and you all know I support companies that are vocal about issues like these.
If you haven’t heard about this company, I can’t recommend them enough. I’m always here to answer questions about my favorite companies, but this is one brand that I STAN.
