I lived for a long time in Tucson, AZ. Going through years that included an RA job, a TA job, two majors, grad school, and studying for the CPA exams… well, let’s just say I got very familiar with the local coffee shops. I had my favorites and my favorite drinks of course, which I’m excited to share with you today. Please note: not all the photos are taken at the same locations as their category. (Sorry, some spots are more photogenic than others.)
Yellow Brick Coffee
I only ever had Yellow Brick Coffee at a farmers market, but I can highly recommend their cold brew. It had amazing flavor and Tanner and I both loved it.

Presta Coffee Roasters
One of the more photogenic spots in Tucson, (at least one location is) it has a great atmosphere and great lattes. I personally recommend the vanilla latte.

Caffe Luce
My absolute favorite spot in Tucson, I get their Azteca Mocha either hot or iced year round. This mocha is the best one I’ve ever had, with cinnamon and other yummy flavors. I crave one every time I’m in the area.

Black Crown Coffee Roasters
I actually went to this place for a school project (we had to analyze their internal controls) and ended up loving it. Although it was a bit out of the way for me, I did enjoy the different drinks I tried. I never picked a favorite though.

Maynards
This was always my morning photoshoot meeting spot. If I ever needed a pick-me-up mid-shoot, this was where I stopped in the morning. Their agua frescas, iced teas, and lemonades are quite good as well.

Cup Cafe at Hotel Congress
Not exactly a coffee shop, this cafe is a sit-down restaurant located inside Hotel Congress. They have an Azteca Mocha as well, which is also delicous and a bit spicier than Caffe Luce’s.

Café a la C’Art
Perfect for a cup of cold brew and one of their fresh scones, this place is as cute as it is good. Their patio is so enjoyable for a quick bite and cup of joe.

Exo Roast Co.
I’m definitely a mocha-kinda gal and I love the mocha here too. They also make good breakfasts!

Tucson Coffee Roasters
I frequent this place more now, since Tanner lives across the street. Tanner loves their cold brew and I think there’s a horchata latte of some kind that I always get.
