With Valentine’s day coming up real quick, I wanted to share a few of my favorite intimates brands with you all! Whether you’re lounging by yourself at home with cookies and a bottle of wine or going on a romantic date with your SO, there’s something here for everyone.
Personally, I’m not a huge fan of the word “lingerie.” I don’t like “panties” either, but I digress. If I’m being honest, I just don’t like using the words”bras” and “underwear” since they are just so unsexy.
Surprise surprise, I’m not talking about Victoria’s Secret today either. If you follow me on social media, you might have noticed that I’m not VS’s biggest fan, for reasons I can go into later (there’s enough there for a whole post).
Utilizing none other than the ‘gram, I found plenty of other lingerie sites that not only look oh-so-cute but also focus on getting women lingerie that fits and empowers them. I’m 100% about it. So, I am so excited to showcase a few pieces that cover all occasions and bonus: won’t cost you an arm and a leg.
For Every Day Wear: ThirdLove
ThirdLove is by far my favorite bra in the drawer. I wear my nude one almost every single day. It’s so routine, I sometimes forget to wash it. I know, that’s TMI and a little gross, but girls – you know what I’m talking about.
I’ve found that, over time, the straps seem to slip a bit, but overall, these bras are the comfiest I own. I sometimes forget I even have them on. They are 100% worth the price for an every day bra. Do yourself a favor and get two so you can rotate them in and out.
For Lounging Around the House: Lively
In a close second for the “bra I wear most often” award is my Lively Busty Bralette. Although I don’t like wearing it under tight fitting clothes (I prefer something with a little more shape and support), this is the perfect bralette for wearing under tees and loose dresses. It has the perfect amount of support for daily activities and works for the bralette trends us busty girls have trouble pulling off.
I have a few of their other bralettes as well, but the Busty Bralette is by far my favorite. If you have a smaller chest, the regular bralettes will probably be your favorite too. They come in lace, mesh solids, colorblocks and fun colors to reflect your personality that day. At the prices they offer, you can get one in every color too.
For Selection and Matching Sets: Adore Me
I have been given a few pieces from Adore Me and have not been disappointed. Sure, I was a little bummed when a button fell off my pajama top, but it’s nothing a little thread and a needle can’t fix. The two pairs of pajamas I’ve gotten from here are some of the softest I own and I wear them almost every night. I cannot express to you how soft they are. I absolutely love them.
The bra sets I’ve also gotten from them actually exceeded my expectations. The lace was some of the softest I’ve ever put on, and the underwear, while it may run a tad big, has lasted a lot longer than some of my VS pieces. I haven’t had any issues with their pieces falling apart on me and I use them pretty generously. So far, I’ve bought four different sets of bras and panties: one cotton bra and hipster, one unlined bra and cheeky, one unlined bra and thong, and one bralette and bikini. They are all comfortable and super cute.
The sets are fairly affordable, so if you’re looking for a fun set for the romantic holiday this month, this could be a great option!

For Vintage Lace: True and Co.
I finally got around to trying True and Co. and I was not disappointed. I got a bra, a matching thong, and possibly the most beautiful corset I’ve ever seen. It runs just a bit small, but I also think that’s the point. The bra is just adorable; it has white polka dots and black lace trim detail. It feels kind of retro and I love the support it provides for an unlined bra.
But back to this corset. Seriously, I love it. If it wasn’t such a pain to put on, I’d probably wear it every day. Corsets, by nature, are not the most comfortable, but the lace on this one is so stunning. Check out their site for some gorgeous and unique lace pieces (especially with the big V-day coming up)!
For Updating the Undie Drawer: BootayBag
Okay, so maybe you won’t get this in time for the holiday. But just let me say: two cute pairs of underwear each month for $12 is a steal. It’s an easy way to totally revamp your panty collection. Two new pairs and getting rid of two pairs each month is just enough for a total re-haul in no time. Cute idea, right?
