So, in hopes of trying to stick to a solid workout plan, I’m creating a Fit Tuesday Link-Up Series. I’ve been on-and-off several Beachbody Programs (I have Beachbody on Demand) as well as the Kayla Itsines BBG Program, but I really have trouble sticking to it.
In this Fit Tuesday series I’m hoping to highlight some of my seriously awesome workout outfits (since I really should work out more than I do) and also gather some words of encouragement from y’all who are trying to do the same thing. If you want to participate, the rules to my linkup will be below the post!
The idea is that if I post every Tuesday, hopefully I’ll be more consistent in working out too! Hold me accountable guys! I may find out that this is too much and I’ll have to do it a little less often, but I’m hoping I can make this a new thing.
Just so everyone out there knows my goals: I am looking to lose about 25 pounds over the next 3-4 months. My target date is March 11 – spring break. Since I will be going on a cruise, you can bet that I want those photos to look straight fire on my Insta.
I’m currently at 149 pounds. I’m not too proud of my weight, especially of how much I have gained in college, but I don’t despise the way I look. Basically, I want to tone up and fix those few areas that jiggle just a bit too much when I walk.
It’s November 15 and I have about 125 days until my goal date. I will be starting with Kayla Itsines’ BBG program. Hopefully, by next Tuesday, you can expect to see what I ate this week as well as some progress. Fingers crossed.
So, for my first Fit Tuesday post, I will be sharing some of the coolest hikes I’ve been able to do around the world! (You know, as I am The Wandering Brunette) I won’t be ranking these hikes as they are all so awesome and you should definitely check them out if you’re ever traveling in these areas!
Abel Tasman National Park, New Zealand
I went here in the Fall (their spring I think) of 2015. I traveled to New Zealand for a week during my study vacation in Australia and loved it! The beaches are so gorgeous and there are so many places to walk along the sand!

The Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia
I hiked for three days in the Blue Mountains, so I feel like a *somewhat* expert on this topic. It’s difficult because you walk down and climb back up, but the peace and serenity here was totally worth it. I traveled here when I was at my low point in Sydney, starting to get homesick and whatnot, and it made me fall in love with Australia over and over again (even though I was already in love with it).

Pacaya Volcano, Antigua, Guatemala
With a last minute decision, I decided to hike up this volcano. I sat in traffic for hours, hiked in the rain and fog, and was sore for days, but it was totally worth it. (P.S. I even met my boyfriend on this trip.)

A Random Trail from a Guidebook, Innsbruck, Austria
I wouldn’t say this was as much of a “hike” as it is a long walk. We walked up a ways to get this amazing view and I got to stand on this hanging platform to take this photo!

The Flat Irons, Boulder, Colorado, USA
I just got back from my first trip to Colorado and can’t wait to share it with you guys! My boyfriend and I hiked in The Flat Irons in Boulder and experimented with my vintage camera to take some really awesome photos.
The post will go live tomorrow and the link will be here.
Seven Falls, Tucson, Arizona, USA
Last but not least, the hike I take on a routine basis. I’ve gone over this hike before in a post and my love for it hasn’t changed. The view from the top is always worth it.

The views are always amazing wherever you go! And it’s the perfect way to travel and exercise that doesn’t actually cut into your exploring time 🙂
Your photos look so cool and adventurous! Hiking a volcano is something I want to do! I hear of people roasting smores at the top!
I actually did that! I talked about it in my Antigua travel post a few months ago, but it was so cool!
You’ve got some beautiful places to hike! I’m in the same boat as you…I want to lose some weight but don’t exercise as much as I should. I’ve found the 21 Day Fix to be very helpful..and it’s only half an hour a day!
My mom has been doing that one! I’ve been doing Insanity T25 lately too!
I love hiking! It so fun. You are os lucky you have gotten to hike in so many great places.
