My Stay at Hotel Adeline

This last weekend was one for the books, as it always is when every Arizonan heads to Scottsdale for the Waste Management Open. Usually the weekend consists of laying on the grass, enjoying the rowdy crowds, and watching some golf. Even with the overpriced drinks, it’s always a good time.

I’m (one day) going to write a full post on how to navigate the Waste Management Open as a total newbie, but for now, I’m going to write my full review of my weekend stay at Hotel Adeline. If you haven’t heard of this place before, that’s because Hotel Adeline is a newly renovated boutique hotel in Scottsdale, formerly the Scottsdale Inn.

The location:

First things first, this place is the perfect place to stay if you’re headed to the Waste Management Open. It’s about 10 miles from the course, or just under a $20 Uber or Lyft ride. Talk about a prime location.

Other than that, this place is just a few minutes from old town, making it the perfect meeting place for getting together with friends.

Pool Time:

Like I mentioned earlier, Hotel Adeline was formerly the Scottsdale Inn, and with the name change came an entire renovation. One of my favorite parts of the new hotel is the pool area.

The pool area features a walk-in pool with modern decor in the form of couches, lounge chairs, and cabanas. There’s even a small area for a large group and a pool bar.

Amenities:

The hotel rooms pretty much have your standard features. The bed was insanely comfy (and huge, because I only have a double bed at home) and the shower was possibly the best one I’ve used in a while.

The showers have rain heads, which was so relaxing and luxurious. Definitely a step up from the shower in my apartment.

On-site Food:

The hotel also has a full-service bar and on-site restaurant. We were going to go for dinner, but ended up getting a pizza delivered to our room instead.

However, in the morning, Tanner and I walked down for a good breakfast and coffee. Tanner got a cold brew and egg sandwich and I got a mocha and avocado toast. I completely and wholeheartedly recommend both.

Tanner raved about the cold brew and the barista informed us that the coffee is all made locally.

All together, Tanner and I loved our stay here. It definitely made our weekend trip even better than we had originally planned. If you’re planning a trip to Scottsdale, this hotel will not disappoint. With modern amenities, a fun aesthetic, and an affordable price tag, you definitely can’t go wrong.

Loved your blog and pictures. We are going to Scottsdale next week for spring training to see the Giants play. Is this hotel close to the field? I was seeing reviews that it was very noisy- did you also experience this?

Hi Nicole – thanks for stopping by! Since Spring Training is all over the Phoenix area, I’m actually not sure how close the hotel is to the field! You could easily throw both in Google Maps to find that though. We had noisy neighbors the first night, and that could be an issue at any hotel, but had absolutely no issues with noise the second night! As far as overall noise though, I wouldn’t say it’s a “noisy” hotel.
