It only took me 5 years to become an Arizona girl, inside and out. I finally got around to getting an official Arizona address and changing my driver’s license. I switched out the California plates on my car for plates featuring the Grand Canyon state and I started saying “it’s a dry heat” whenever someone brought up the topic of summer in Arizona.
Nevada and California will always have special places in my heart, but for now, I’m an Arizona girl. In the recent years, I’ve been hooked on finding all the best Arizona boutiques and designers. I’m continually impressed with the business women in this community; they are doing some pretty cool things. Today, I’m sharing two more although I could go on forever about so many of them.
Today’s designer: Sigfus Designs
The earrings that make people stop you and say “where did you get those.” Sigfus is woman-owned and operated (although she does give credit to her husband for helping out!) and the earrings are super unique. She uses polymer clay and designs and makes the earrings from start-to-finish. Since they’re made from clay, they’re super light (which is great in the heat of summer and comfortable on your ears) and fairly durable. I have earrings that look like ceramic and other that look like wood, but the clay makes them much more wearable.
In this post, I’m wearing the HANNU earrings. This particular pair has a fun design on them, which I absolutely love. The combination of black and white makes them look totally chic and they’d match just about any outfit. I can’t wait to rock them with a power suit or monochromatic look.
I’m going on four pairs of earrings from this gem of a designer; they’re that cute. Two are one-of-a-kind designs that aren’t sold online, but I linked the other two pairs I own, plus the two pairs I’m buying next below. I’m totally in love with the colors she has been releasing lately!
Designs that I own:
HANNU – White, Black, and Gray (wearing)
Triple Half Moon Earrings – White and Tan
Designs that I’m totally buying next:
Today’s Boutique: Vida Moulin
Vida Moulin has long been on my list of my favorite boutiques. While some of their dresses fall out of my price range, they’re all cute. They frequently have sales, which I am here for. Just recently, they has a 50% off sale promotion and I picked up the last of this dress for under $12. Yep, a Jack BB Dakota dress for just $12. So I’d say their sales are a pretty good deal.
They have a few pieces of clothing that are designed for their in-house label. They’re all super cute and typically more affordable. I’ve got my eye on a few of their tops, but I’ll have to see if they’re still in stock once I have a more steady paycheck. It’s been a pretty dry summer for me, money wise.
