Taking a Walk on the Wild Side

I searched high and low for the perfect animal print item to add to my closet this season. I really struggled, because the “it-skirt” from Realisation just wasn’t right for me. So, I went to my go-to place for trendy items: thredUP. Of course, they didn’t let me down. I found this little number in the recent additions section of thredUP; it’s a silk leopard skirt from Joie and it was brand new with tags! I couldn’t believe it was only $30!

As simple as this look is, it was hard to pass up a classic. The ribbed texture of the sweater just adds a little extra and I love the little peek of skin between the skirt and top and the boots and skirt. Speaking of these boots, they are the best. I bought a pair of over-the-knee boots last year that I just didn’t like. They were too thin in the shoe, uncomfortable, and they never stayed up. These are the exact opposite. They are perfect for wider feet, like mine, and the elastic at the top of the shaft actually keeps the boots up when you walk. For under $100, this is one of the best finds of the season! But don’t wait, they’re on sale, and I think they’re going to go fast!

The only thing was, I couldn’t decide whether I liked this look better with or without a sherpa lined denim jacket! When the whether drops below 65 or so, this is one of the best Arizona winter looks around.
