So, all of the lovely people who follow me on Instagram have been so nice and complimenting my hair lately. I usually curl it for my photo shoots with a 1.25 inch to a 1.5 inch curling iron. I curl it in sections and use Redkin’s heat protectant spray. That stuff is amazing.
But good hair starts with a good foundation. This is the part where I’m laughing to myself, because all y’all don’t know that my hair is so messed up and still in repair. Before I went to Australia a year ago, this woman put blonde in my hair. She put blonde in my hair. I was never ever meant to be blonde. Well, in the repairing stage of my hair’s existence, I tried to change the light color and I have stopped dying my hair. If you look closely, you can see the highlights stop right at about my eyebrows.
Anyway, I’ve been a Hask Hair fan lately, and this Chia Seed Volumizing shampoo is no exception. It smells good, just like the passion fruit one I used before smelled nice, and leaves my hair feeling so nice. It’s not greasy, so I know it cleans well, but it also doesn’t dry my hair out, which is so important. Hask has turned me into such a fan, and seriously, with these prices, it can’t hurt to try it out. They are inexpensive and work well, which is the golden combo for a college student like me.
Below is one of my outfits from my latest shoot, which you may have seen before, but I figured the simple outfit went perfectly with my volumized hair.
I’m also linking to the Blogmas giveaway (sorry, I missed Friday!), so you can win your own curling iron so you too can have long, curly locks like mine! The giveaway link is below!
