So, I rebranded!

So, if you’re reading this today, you may realize the site looks just a little different. That’s because I took the plunge and decided to go in a different direction with my blog. This isn’t the first time you’ve seen a change around here. First, it was the way I edited my photos. Now, it’s a site and name change.

So why, you ask, did I decided to do this?

I loved being The Wandering Brunette. I truly did. That name still holds a special place in my heart since I built that brand from the ground up.

But when I started The Wandering Brunette, I was studying abroad, traveling every weekend, and keeping up that lifestyle when I came back to the States was nearly impossible. I still travel, you guys see it in my photos and stories. That part of my brand isn’t going away.

But I couldn’t let it be my whole brand.

I started to introduce a lot of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle and all of you responded so positively to my new content. I made this change for you guys. When writing under The Wandering Brunette, I felt very contained to writing things just about travel and it was hard to stay inspired on a daily basis.

Now, I feel like I can post about anything. I mean, I’m sticking with what I mostly did before, but now, I don’t have to feel guilty about just posting a fashion or food post. I had so many ideas and I pushed them all down because they didn’t fit with my travel-based brand. Now, I can finally show you guys everything I was planning.

Ultimately, I believe that this brand change will only improve my content and what I push out to you guys. I’m so excited to be working under this new name, Curated by Kirsten, and I hope you all are excited for what’s to come too!
