Zevia Sangria

Summer is the perfect time for sangria. Cold, fruit, and carbonated, there’s no better drink to enjoy poolside or brunching with friends. You know what’s even better about sangria? It’s easy to make, makes a lot of servings, and it’s inexpensive. For Easter this year, I made this white wine sangria with ginger ale and sauvignon blanc. It was a sure hit with my friends and the perfect drink to enjoy on a warm Sunday.

I made it the night before serving and I’m proud to say I didn’t add a single bit of sugar. The Zevia Ginger Ale that I used to mix the sangria is made with Stevia instead of sugar too, so I can practically say that this sangria is good for you. Okay, maybe that’s a stretch, but it sure doesn’t hurt that there isn’t a bit of sugar in here that’s not from the fruit or the alcohol. No added artificial sugar certainly can’t hurt, right? Stevia is probably my all time favorite sweetener because it’s all natural and about twenty times sweeter than artificial sugar. I’m pretty sure that’s why this sangria didn’t need anything else to give it the sweet flavor I was looking for.

Honestly, for those of us who like to enjoy the occasional cocktail, the added sugar can be a killer. Why not enjoy the occasional drink with a little less sugar by using Zevia? Zevia Sodas would also be the perfect substitutes in a variety of different mixed drinks, especially with their variety of flavors.

But why not just try some for yourself? You can locate them at your local store HERE and let me know if you like the recipe below!
