Two-piece sets are totally my jam right now. I can’t really tell you why, but I’m absolutely obsessed. Truthfully, I didn’t used to be a fan, but they won me over.
This SaraBoo lace set is certainly no exception. In fact, it may be one of my closet favorites now. Instead of the usual playful print I go for, I went for a sexy black and lace combo look. This set is modestly sexy, showing off my midriff while keeping the girls and most of my thighs covered. Less is more – ya know? I actually love this set so much, I’m debating getting it in white too. It’s just that cute.
Anyway, the best part about two-piece sets is that you can style the two pieces in more than one way! Since this set is black, it’s pretty versatile.

For Date Night:
I’m all about date night. Call me old fashioned, but I love dressing up and going to dinner. I love being with my boyfriend and having uninterrupted time together to talk about our weeks or days or just anything really.
I also love dressing up in something that will make him do a double take when he looks at me. He’s such a fan of little black dresses on me (I mean, they do look good) that I knew he would like this set as well. Fun fact: I actually snapchatted him a photo of myself in this outfit as soon as I got it. I got a “heart eyes” emoji and confirmation that yes, he would like me to wear this on a date.
I paired the set with simple heels, since there’s really no reason to go overboard here. I mean, the lace is pretty much the center of attention and too many accessories would just make this feel busy. If I had real Chanel heels, I would wear those, but instead I just wore the best designer dupes I could find.
For Girl’s Night Out:
My GNO outfit is a little more fun. I swapped the Chanel dupes for these fun strappy heels from Forever 21 and my all-time favorite skort. (P.S. This skort comes in four colors and I want them all.) The skort flattering and fun and honestly perfect since I don’t have to worry about my skirt riding up all night. Plus, the skort has pockets.
Honestly, I was so obsessed with this look when I tried it on that I knew I had to have it on the blog. I can definitely see this being a go-to outfit when I hit up the bars on a Friday (ok, maybe Thursday too) night after a long week of studying Accounting.
For the Office:
Ok, last but not least, the work look. Since I rock office wear at least 4 days a week (thank goodness for casual Fridays), it’s imperative that I figure out ways to incorporate my favorite pieces into my work wardrobe. Since this skirt is a tad short, I would only wear this skirt with flats in the office. Even then, I would be careful about which offices I wear this in.
The floral lace added a stylish touch to what would otherwise be a simple outfit. To step it up a notch, I paired it with a satin-y blush shirt from Forever 21. The satin and lace looked absolutely gorgeous together. The flats I wore it with are simple D’Orsay style flats from Aldo – nothing too crazy to let the rest of the outfit do the talking.
Literally, catch my in variations of this look all Fall and Winter long. This set is definitely about to become a favorite.
Love all of these looks – especially the blush skirt!

Thank you so much! The office one is super cute in person – I ended up actually wearing it to work that day!
