Brunch in Tucson

Let’s be honest here: if you are a woman in between the ages of 21 and 35, brunch is probably your favorite time of day. Honestly, I don’t blame you. It’s the perfect excuse to order bottomless mimosas that you will spend half of your Sunday drinking and order dessert for breakfast. In Tucson, brunch Sunday is practically a holiday that we all celebrate. It’s hard not to when we do have some of the best brunch Cafes in the US.

Brunch is practically a right of passage. I will never forget my first brunch where I ordered the most amazing Eggs Benedict of my life and indulged in enough mimosas that I had to take a nap. Brunch is fun; it’s either a morning with the girls or a fun date with your guy. Either way, it’s a good thing.

I post a lot of brunch photos on my Instagram, which you may have seen if you follow me with any sort of regularity. I have started this thing where I’m insistent that I have to try all of these amazing places before I leave Tucson. I’m determined – a woman on a mission.

The hard part is, I definitely have my favorites. Why try a new place when that place just down the street is so good and never has a line?

Well, I’ll tell you why. There are so many tasty local Tucson brunch places that it’s practically a crime not to try them all. I’ll start off reviewing just a few and don’t you worry – there are many more to come.

Prep & Pastry

This is probably the most popular place for brunch in Tucson. It’s like the go-to hangout spot for anyone on Friday-Sunday from 10 AM – noon. I don’t blame them – this place is great. They have the tastiest French Toast and so many mimosa options, you may even be overwhelmed at first. (Hint: order the make your own!) img_7370 img_7343img_7363

The Coronet

This place is my favorite Tucson brunch place. There is never a line, the outdoor tables have fans and it’s always in the shade, and the food is so good. I order the Eggs Florentine every single time and my boyfriend always goes for the classic waffle with “the works.” In case you’re wondering, that means fresh fruit and whipped cream on top and bacon bits cooked inside of the waffle. Yeah, it’s pretty good.

This one is our go-to place, which is awesome since it’s just down the road and we can generally just go right in and be seated.

Oh my goodness, this all looks so delicious! The brunch options are limited where I live, so I take full advantage of brunching every time I travel. Haha.

Holy cow, both places you showcased look like they have the yummiest brunch food! I’m also a huge fan of eggs benedict whenever I go out for brunch. It’s a seriously delicious class!
